Using a 3% AFFF foam agent, this extinguisher is UL Rated for Class A and Class B fire hazards. The air-spraying nozzle limits the scattering of burning material while the agent creates a foam seal on the surface of burning fuel, smothering the fire and preventing re-ignition.

Typical Uses

Recommended for combating Class B fires fueled by hydrocarbon flammable liquids such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel. With its excellent wetting properties, the extinguisher is also very effective on common combustible (Class A) fires. It is an ideal choice for facilities storing flammable liquids and for emergency response vehicles.

The Discharge Valve Assembly has a Schrader Valve incorporated into it for easy recharging in the field.
Manufactured and UL/ULC Listed to ANSI/UL 8, ANSI/UL 711, CAN/ULC-5554 and CAN/ULC-5508 Standards.
Unit ships empty and unpressurized with a separate container of the AFFF foam concentrate included for on-site charging of the extinguisher.
